Keep Your Eye on the Ball

Keep Your Eye on the Ball is the brainchild of Wendy and Rich Baum, whose son, Tyler, has aniridia.  With Rich’s love for basketball, they came up with the idea of the “Keep Your Eye on the Ball” fundraising event, offering a day of basketball competition for boys and girls across the Chicagoland area. Wendy and Rich partner with Susan and Jon Ballis, board members of The Vision for Tomorrow Foundation, and parents to Tess, who has albinism.  With its prior success and amazing community participating, this event is now an annual occurrence!

In 2011, Keep Your Eye on the Ball basketball tournament included 38 teams and over 600 people enjoyed the carnival. Thanks to all of our generous supporters Keep Your Eye on the Ball has raised over $150,000 for research!

We are ‘taking a time-out’ in 2012 but stay tuned for upcoming Keep Your Eye on the Ball events!
