SeeFit

Since it’s inception in 2010, SeeFit has raised close to $100,000 for research for blind and visually impaired children through the Vision For Tomorrow Foundation. Helen and Adam Mopsick started SeeFit as a way to combine their love of fitness and spending time with their family with raising money for research; research which will help not only their son, Colton who has aniridia, but the millions of others who are visually impaired or blind. SeeFit began as a CrossFit competition followed by a Family Olympics. In 2012, others began to approach Helen and Adam, wanting to fundraise through CrossFit events. The result has been multiple competitions held at local-area CrossFit gyms and the current, SeeFit: Road2theCure which is a cross-country journey from Miami, Florida across the nation to Los Angeles, California to raise money and awareness for research for visually impaired children. Along the way, the athletes will stop at thirty CrossFit ‘Boxes’ (gyms) before reaching their final destination: The CrossFit Games in Los Angeles, CA on July 13th, 2012.
