James and Erica Murphy, parents of Haley, who has aniridia, will be hosting an aniridia awareness and fundraising event. These parents have teamed up with the Camden Riversharks (on Saturday June 2, 2012 @ 1:00pm) for an event to benefit The Vision For Tomorrow Foundation . The Camden Riversharks will be donating $5.00 for each ticket purchased. June 28 – July 15, 2012: SeeFit: Road2theCure
SeeFit: Road2theCure Team (Dylan, Jon, Noah)
On June 28, 2012 seven extraordinary CrossFitters from the University of Miami (a cross-country road trip by seven extraordinary young men. Noah Ohlsen, Dylan Malitsky, Brock Gamez, Jon Weislow, Eric Marerro, Cameron Uranick, and Matt Rhodes) will journey from Miami, Florida across the nation to Los Angeles, California to raise money for research through The Vision For Tomorrow Foundation. Along the way, Noah, Dylan, Brock, Jon, Eric, Matt, and Cam will stop at thirty CrossFit ‘Boxes’ (gyms) before reaching their final destination: The CrossFit Games in Los Angeles, CA on July 13th, 2012.
Their goal: Raise awareness and $50,000 to help fund a project which may help PREVENT corneal blindness in individuals with aniridia. To learn more, visit the SeeFit main website at www.SeeFit.org/Road2theCure
