Applying for Grants

Funding research is at the heart of our foundation. Research makes it possible to better understand and more effectively treat non-degenerative retinal disorders. It allows us to envision a world where they may be cured — or even prevented.

The Vision for Tomorrow Foundation funds new research projects that involve non-degenerative retinal conditions which cause low vision impairments (i.e., albinism, aniridia, and congenital nystagmus). The initial seed money we provide may be used for collecting preliminary data which can then help to obtain funding from other organizations such as the NIH (National Institutes of Health).

Who may apply?
The Vision for Tomorrow Foundation is pleased to provide funding to qualified researchers. To apply for a grant, you must:

  • Be a clinical researcher, medical doctor, scientist, or clinically-trained professional
  • Hold a relevant advanced degree (M.D. and/or Ph.D.) and have completed all research training
  • Have an affiliation with a recognized hospital, university, clinic or laboratory
If you are a qualified researcher in need of funding, please apply.
